Dry skin is an unpleasant condition with results of skin itching, and cracking. But it can be treated with a variety of methods. Dry skin can develop on your face, hands, arms, and legs.
Exposure to the sun, dry weather, the wind, hot water, and certain chemicals can cause your skin to dry out. Also, some medical conditions like eczema can cause dry skin.
Eczema is a chronic skin condition that causes dry scaly patches to appear on your skin. Other conditions, such as psoriasis and diabetes, can also cause your skin to dry out.
Older people are more likely to develop dry skin. As you age, the body’s natural hyaluronic acid reduces and collagen production slow down and your skin produces less oil which causes the dry skin.
Most people experience dry and itchy skin during the fall and winter months when humidity levels are relatively low. In the summer when the level of humidity in the air is higher your skin is less likely to dry out.
If you are one of those people that likes to take a hot shower or wash your hands frequently, you’ll need to change your habits. Taking hot baths or washing with hot water can dry your skin out.
Avoid using hot water or showering every day (or keep your shower time to less than 10 minutes). Use a moisturizing body wash when you bathe or shower and apply moisturizer immediately after bathing. Pat dry your skin instead of rubbing.
It’s also crucial to choose the right moisturizer for your skin type. If your skin is very dry, look for moisturizers that contain Cocoa Butter, Beeswax, Vitamin C, Jojoba Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil and Borage Oil these are the great source of antioxidant and rich in moisturizing properties.

Remember, if you are struggling with dry skin, you can prevent and treat it by simply changing your lifestyle.
Do these steps to avoid any damage on your skin and develop a new healthy and beautiful skin.Remember,
1- Use a humidifier in your home to moist the air and keep the temperature at 68 degrees Fahrenheit.
2- Drink lots of water and other liquids. Drinking enough water gives your skin a radiant, healthy, younger- looking. The lack of hydration can turn your skin dry, tight and flaky.
3- Before you go outside in the cold and dry weather protect your sensitive skin by applying moisturizer on your face, hands and lips. Wear scarf and gloves to have extra protection.
4- Take a short shower and avoid using hot water. As soon as you come out of shower pat dry your skin and apply moisturizer immediately.
5- Cleanse your face with the gentle cleanser that contains a winning combination of Organic Aloe, Sunflower Oil, Beeswax, Olive Oil, Avocado Oil, Kokum Butter and Jojoba oil. This cleanser will deeply moisturize your skin and leave your skin feeling soft and supple.
6- Use a toner after your cleansing. Toner will help close pores and balance the PH level of your skin. If you experience dryness on your skin, just spritz on your face, neck and other dry areas.
